Scheherazade Intarsia class

Get the jump on this beautiful, adaptable pattern while learning basic intarsia! Students will learn how to make a stunning project using very simple tangle-free intarsia technique. Special graph paper for planning your project included in the handouts. This project is great for long-print yarns like Kureyon, Paintbox, Karaoke, Geologie, Zino, Zauberball, or Tonalita.

Skill level is intermediate.
Prerequisite: Students should be able to increase and decrease and work garter stitch.

Maximum 20 students.

½ day workshop

Students receive a handout in booklet form; and the pattern to make a scarf, shawl, or ruana are provided as part of the class materials.

No materials fee.

No homework.

Supplies:
at least four colors of class yarn (smooth, non-splitting, light or bright or medium color) — small leftover skeins are fine
needles to work that yarn in garter stitch

No special needs for the room set up. A whiteboard or flip chart is nice to have but not need to have. I have a projector if the facilities can accommodate it. Room set-up should be tables and chairs either facing forward or in a U-shape.
